Due to extensive construction work going on around the café resulting in a lack of (if any) parking space available for our team, it is not currently viable to continue our home delivery service. However, pick up remains available from Noon until 3pm for our home-cooked meals. Remember to order before 8am on Thursday.

Who are we?


Savoir French is a family-owned business by co-directors and wives Rebecca & Clarisse. Both Rebecca and Clarisse were born and raised in France, and they are both professionally trained in Australia. Between the two of them, they have a total of 28 years’ experience in hospitality and a shared passion for the industry. They both love sharing their culture and language through traditional food and personalised service. No request is ever too big! Both owners are dedicated to giving the most authentic experience so customers can indulge in a piece of France in Canberra.

Rebecca and Clarisse believe in good, simple and honest traditional French food which they are committed to making in-house from scratch, only buying high quality, fresh & raw ingredients. Savoir French is a play on words. In the French language, the term Savoir-Faire, means know-how. Our name reflects their business model: skilled workers with French know-how, making traditional bread, pastries, dishes, cakes etc… In addition, Rebecca and Clarisse are also committed to producing minimal waste and giving back to the community by donating leftover food.
