It is a tradition for Epiphanie in France (6th of Jan) to enjoy this delicacy.
It is a puff pastry pie filled with frangipane (almond cream and creme patissiere). Traditionally, a small porcelain figure is hidden inside the pie, and when consumed, whoever finds the "feve" (the little figurine) is the king or queen of the evening!
While we are doing our best to find the little figurines and crowns this year, we are unsure of whether or not we will be able to find them in time. However, we are still offering our galettes this year as a bake at home item. It will come vaccuum packed and frozen with cooking instructions, ready to bake at home on the 6th of Jan and enjoy with the whole family!
